Product Description
XYLOCROSS is a laminated design with a non-woven top substrate carrying cross-wise plied monofilament yarns and a woven single- or double-layer bottom base. The cross-wise top yarns act as micro-foils to move water into the felt rapidly and intensively.
Applications
- Press positions where nip dewatering is essential.
- Most suitable for shoe-press positions of high-speed machines above 1000 MPM.
Advantages
- Optimally directed water flow from paper to roll side.
- Less re-wetting and better pressure uniformity.
- Low air permeability for better nip dewatering.
- More compressible with low void volume.
- Better life and dewatering, low transversal flow resistance and fast start-up.
Features
- Fine upper base combined with incompressible bottom base.
- Dewatering, permeability and compression control.
- Wear resistance and balanced nip/uhle-box dewatering.
- Pick-up property and controlled flow resistance.
