XYLOCROSS Dinesh Felts

Product Description

XYLOCROSS is a laminated design with a non-woven top substrate carrying cross-wise plied monofilament yarns and a woven single- or double-layer bottom base. The cross-wise top yarns act as micro-foils to move water into the felt rapidly and intensively.

Applications

  • Press positions where nip dewatering is essential.
  • Most suitable for shoe-press positions of high-speed machines above 1000 MPM.

Advantages

  • Optimally directed water flow from paper to roll side.
  • Less re-wetting and better pressure uniformity.
  • Low air permeability for better nip dewatering.
  • More compressible with low void volume.
  • Better life and dewatering, low transversal flow resistance and fast start-up.

Features

  • Fine upper base combined with incompressible bottom base.
  • Dewatering, permeability and compression control.
  • Wear resistance and balanced nip/uhle-box dewatering.
  • Pick-up property and controlled flow resistance.
